Kenny Omega will defend the AEW world championship against Rey Fenix next week (Dec. 30) on night one of New Year’s Smash.
This match was quickly put together against Omega’s will, and he’s not happy at all about it. The champ is pissed off, and he’s worried that he might just have to end Fenix’s career in AEW as a result. But don’t worry, because Impact Wrestling or Konnan will probably take Fenix’s injury prone body back:
