Tensions have been on the rise within the Inner Circle ever since their ranks increased with new members MJF and Wardlow last month. MJF can’t get along with Sammy Guevara, while Wardlow and Jake Hager are always locked in a death stare with each other.
That situation escalated on tonight’s (Dec. 2) episode of Dynamite. Chris Jericho fought Frankie Kazarian in a singles match. When Jericho was stuck in a submission hold towards the end of the fight, MJF came out and teased throwing in the towel on Le Champion. Guevara, who was enraged after being eliminated by MJF earlier in a battle royal, took the towel out of MJF’s hand. Jericho briefly caught a glimpse of Guevara holding the towel before he was able to put Kazarian away with the Judas Effect.
Afterwards, there was a shoving match between MJF and Guevara, and Hager and Wardlow. Jericho had enough of the nonsense. He grabbed a mic and spewed a bunch of profanities while issuing an ultimatum. They have seven days to either get on the same page, or the Inner Circle will break up forever.
Next week on #AEWDynamite, @IAmJericho sets the record straight within the Inner Circle.
