AEW Rankings (Dec. 2, 2020): Licking the women’s title belt put Abadon in the top 5

AEW released their latest rankings (Dec. 2, 2020). Let’s check out the movers and shakers.

Men:

AEW

All remains the same with the men’s top 5, but winter is coming. Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega tonight on Dynamite. Ricky Starks and Will Hobbs will get a chance to make an impression for a TNT title shot by pinning Darby Allin or Cody Rhodes in tag team action.

Women:

AEW

Anna Jay lost her championship challenge to Hikaru Shida, and Abadon licked her way to the #5 spot by slurping the women’s belt. I’m hoping Abadon can score a sponsorship with Tootsie Pops.

Abadon is most likely in line to be Shida’s next defense. Abadon’s last official match in AEW was a win over Dani Jordyn on episode 49 of Dark, which was released September 1. Abadon competed against Tay Conti in October, but that bout never made air due to an injury scare. Abadon most likely used her zombie ghoul powers of regeneration to recuperate.

Tag Team:

AEW

Jurassic Express picked up a solid win on Dark in a three-way against 5 & 10 and Sonny Kiss & Joey Janela. That victory pushed Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus past the Natural Nightmares.
