AEW is hyping up this Saturday’s (Nov. 7) Full Gear pay-per-view card as the greatest lineup in the promotion’s history.
One of the key matches on the card is a dream match with the Young Bucks challenging FTR for the AEW tag titles. Here’s a pretty good hype video getting that point across:
The storyline of this match involves Matt Jackson suffering a severe leg injury at the hands of FTR. The Young Bucks already raised the stakes by declaring they will never challenge for the AEW tag titles again if they can’t get the job done at Full Gear. It’s eerily similar to an angle from last year’s Full Gear card, when Cody Rhodes made a similar vow about the AEW world championship, but then failed to win the gold on that night.
If that stipulation isn’t enough to get you to think the Young Bucks will win the match, a new stipulation was added last night to swing things more in their favor. Tully Blanchard has played a critical role if helping FTR win most of their recent matches. His interference has gotten out of hand, and he has now been banned from ringside at Full Gear as a result.
