Taz makes an interesting offer to Will Hobbs

The FTW championship is not recognized by any wrestling promotion, but it was still defended tonight (Oct. 7) on AEW Dynamite. Brian Cage put the gold on the line against Will Hobbs. This was the biggest match for Hobbs since he emerged as an ally for AEW world champion Jon Moxley a few weeks ago.

The match was full of high impact moves from start to finish. But Cage demonstrated that there’s more to his game than just power, and he was able to outlast Hobbs and retain the FTW championship.

After the match, it looked like Cage and Ricky Starks were going to destroy Hobbs, but Taz temporarily called them off. Taz said that Hobbs was impressive in defeat, and he now has two options - either join Team Taz, or take an asskicking from Cage and Starks.

Before Hobbs could respond, Darby Allin came down to the ring to provide some backup and once again send Team Taz running in the other direction.
