AEW women’s champion Hikaru Shida hasn’t had much to do on Dynamite ever since Thunder Rosa departed the scene. But the Full Gear pay-per-view is coming up on Nov. 7, and the women’s championship needs to be defended on that card. So instead of waiting around for the women’s division to step up to her, Shida now has to name her own opponent:

Afterwards, the match was made official; Shida will defend the gold against Nyla Rose at Full Gear.
