Turn your radios on, I’ll be a right there, yes I will. Turn me up real loud, I’m in your ears, ah. And I’m hangin’ ten now baby, as I liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens into the intro video.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent?) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (c) (AEW World Tag Team Championship)

Wheeler and Taylor to start, collar and elbow, Cash turns it into a side headlock, shot off, shoulder block. Wristlock, dragging him over to Harwood, quick tag into arm wringers, Chuck reverses, side headlock, shot off, shoulder block, shoulder block, arm drag into an armbar! Tag to Trent, double whip, looking for an armbar of his own but Dax struggles to his feet.

Handful of hair, referee Rick Knox warns him, into the corner, Harwood hammers him with chops and uppercuts! Tag made, FTR in control, back suplex gets a nearfall on Beretta. Quick tags, well into the heat segment now, big back superplex leaves both Dax and Trent wiped out! Cash tags in... no good! Vader Bomb, Beretta gets the knees up and the path is clear!

Harwood tags back in but can’t block Trent, Chuck is legal and cleaning house with lariats! Clotheslining both champs to the floor... TOPE CON GIRO! Back inside, Falcon Arrow does the deal but cannot win the match! Best Friends keeping the momentum, tag to Beretta, knee strick into the Sole Food / half nelson suplex combo, Busaiku Knee... CASH WHEELER KICKS OUT!

Trent slugging forearm after forearm into Wheeler’s jaw, Cash fires back a short-arm lariat, pop-up into a powerbomb, Gory Facebuster, Harwood covers... STILL NO! Back suplex, again just a two count, setting Beretta up top, climbing up after him, jockeying for position, shrugging Wheeler off too, but Dax comes back and crotches his challenger!

Harwood with another back superplex... TRENT COUNTERS WITH A CROSSBODY BUT CASH BREAKS THE PIN UP! Tornado DDT takes Wheeler out, Dax spikes him with a DDT of his own... NOPE! Best Friends get it back together, Strong Zero... CASH BREAKS THE PIN UP WITH A HEADBUTT! Sheerdrop brainbuster to Taylor on the floor, Trent dropkicks Wheeler into the crowd!

Chasing after him to where Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford are playing video games, but Cash sidesteps the spear and Beretta goes face-first through the arcade cab! Referee Rick Knox counting, Kip sends Penelope running backstage for something and Wheeler drops Trent off at the ring, not willing to take a countout!

Looking for Goodnight Express, reversed, Beretta hits a DDT on Dax and gets the tag! Chuck lighting him up with forearms and chops, Cash runs in with a title belt but Taylor sidesteps, waistlock, standing switch, Knox is out of position and can’t see Wheeler clock Chuck with the belt...

FTR win by pinfall with a lateral press from Dax Harwood on Chuck Taylor to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Post-match, Best Friends are recovering in the ring when Penelope Ford brings Miro to the ring to beat them down! He hits the overhead belly-to-belly on Taylor, throwing Chuck into Trent, dumping Beretta to the floor!

Commentary tells us they’ll be in action, after the break.

Kip Sabian & Miro vs. Lee Johnson & Sean Maluta

Miro just destroying Maluta out the gates, moving on to Johnson, absolutely destroying him before he can even tag in. Tag to Sabian, up top, diving splash, tag back to Miro. The Best Man turns him over and calls for it...

Kip Sabian & Miro win by submission with Game Over (which appears to be the new name for the Accolade) from Miro on Sean Maluta.

Post-match, Kip Sabian gets on the mic and yells at Best Friends, and Miro tells them it’s game over because they broke his shit.

We cut backstage to where Lance Archer is beating Jon Moxley down while Jake “the Snake” Roberts cheers him on and waves off the AEW crew that try to break it up.

Commentary talks up the #1 contender’s tournament for the AEW World Championship and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Maxwell Jacob Friedman makes his entrance, flanked by Wardlow.

He gets on the mic and says he’s got a legend coming out to listen to his big announcement, Le Champion himself, Chris Jericho!

Jericho enters, flanked by Ortiz, Santana, Jake Hager, and Sammy Guevara of the Inner Circle, all of them (except Sammy) wearing the jackets that MJF got them.

Sammy is holding a jacket, though, and Maxwell calls him out, asking him to put it on. Guevara refuses and Christ tells him to wear it, but it’s like a 3X and Sammy doesn’t wanna. Jericho orders him to wear it and Guevara is swimming in it. Friedman calls attention to Jericho’s physique, saying he looks like Popeye the Sailor Man if he was injecting spinach.

And his hair, his luscious bodacious mane! He asks Y2J if he can touch it, they have a back and forth about it and Chris lets him touch his hair. MJF keeps it real and says he and Jericho are the two biggest minute-for-minute draws, saying if Chris is the Demo God, then he’s the Ratings Ruler.

They’ve both been on top of their game since the beginning of AEW, but somehow they’ve never gotten physical in the squared circle, and here’s why— he starts rambling about Animal Planet but Jericho says he hates Animal Planet. Okay, so they’re watching animals on TV, and you never ever see piranhas eating each other, and that’s because they have mutual respect.

They’re predators, bro, swimming around prey, but their prey is adapting and they’re gonna have to adapt too if they wanna stay on top. They’ve been great separate, but what if they worked together? Y2J asks what he’d like to propose, and Max has a hard time spitting out the words “I’d like to join the Inner Circle”, going off on tangents and having to give himself little pep talks to make it happen.

Ortiz takes the mic away from him, saying he’s trying to live out his childhood fantasies and jerk Jericho’s chain, but they don’t want him in the Inner Circle. Chris says they’re a family, a team, and they make their decisions together, and they’ll need time to talk about this and make a decision. But for now, Chris wants MJF one-on-one next week...

...for a steak dinner.

Max accepts!

Tony Schiavone is interviewing Dr. Britt Baker, DMD while they both get spa treatments.

Britt talks about her ocmeback match breaking records and calls Rebel in to flip the rules placard to rule #5— be the baddest bitch on the block. She sits up and realizes Tony is naked and screams about it.

Gilligan cut to Baker demanding Schiavone get his chest waxed. Comedy ensues.

Another cut, they’re getting pedicures now and Britt talks about how now that she’s back, the entire division is on notice.

Orange Cassidy makes his entrance to send us to break.

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Orange Cassidy (AEW TNT Championship)

Rhodes a bundle of energy while Cassidy stands stoic in the middle of the ring, trying to get his challenger to flinch and give him an opening. Now he decides he’s gonna go for the lockup but Orange sidesteps him and puts his hands in his pockets. Finally Cody gets his wish and gets the collar and elbow!

Stalemate, circling, Cassidy puts him in the corner and shoves him gently to break. Waistlock takedowns from the champ, Orange with a spot of wrestling himself, arm drag, roll through, cradle pin, only two! Rhodes with a delayed vertical, drop him into the gourdbuster and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Rhodes has a hammerlock, shift to a bodyslam, trading kicks, Cassidy off the ropes, suicide dive puts Cody into the barricade! John Silver comes to ringside and steals the TNT Championship but Cassidy takes it away from him! Referee Paul Turner throws the Dark Order out! Back in the ring, slam into an inverted facelock but Orange reverses to a pin!

Suplex reversed, Stundog Millionaire! CODY CUTTER! Trading strikes in the middle of the ring, palm strikes from Cassidy, basement dropkick takes Orange off his feet in return! Rhodes drags him to the apron, we’re informed Darby Allin will be challenging for this title at Full Gear, back inside, figure four countered, Beautiful Disaster lands true... NOPE!

Half-crab, Cody sitting down for maximum leverage but he lets go, Orange with a schoolboy, no dice, Rhodes with a lariat, also just a nearfall! Push-ups from the champ, showing how much gas he has in the tank, drawing him up, underhooks, Cassidy slips out and crawls through to escape! Cody sets him up top, wrenching his leg... INVERTED SUPERPLEX!

Cover gets two, five minutes remaining, Cody tries to crotch Orange but gets pulled face-first into the post instead! Cassidy up top, diving DDT... STILL NO! Michinoku Driver follows, still only two! Rhodes with a double leg, spinning toehold, figure four leglock in the middle of the ring! Orange pries his foot up but can’t break the hold!

Cassidy rolls over and reverses the pressure but Cody rolls back! Rolling back and forth, under the ropes and Orange forces the break but Rhodes needs Paul Turner to pry his legs apart! Cassidy gets momentum... BEACH BREAK ON THE APRON! Back inside, time running out, Orange with the cover... CODY REVERSES! CRUCIFIX PIN FOR TWO!

Stereo lariats, Cody flags but Orange is fired up! Orange Punch dodged, reversed, reversed, swinging DDT, follow it up with the Beach Break... CODY RHODES KICKS OUT! Elbow pad off, less than a minute left, Cassidy on his feet, breathing hard, eight seconds left and his leg gives out! Mouse trap pin... THE TIME LIMIT EXPIRES AT A COUNT OF TWO! IT’S OVER!

The match goes to a time limit draw.

Alex Marvez is backstage trying to interview Lance Archer and Jake “the Snake” Roberts.

Roberts says you climb a mountain because it’s there, and Jon Moxley comes screaming out of stage left to attack Archer! Referees and crew members pull them apart!

Tony Schiavone interviews Matt Hardy and his family at ringside.

He says he feels practically perfect in many many ways and he and his family are enjoying the anniversary show. He’s proud of AEW and very happy to say that as of tonight he’s 100% and cleared to return to the ring!

We see footage of a man in a hoodie walking backstage and burning pictures of Matt Hardy with a lighter. It’s Sammy Guevara!

He cuts a promo in a different location, admitting that he attacked Matt Hardy. It was him, it was him all along, and he’s the man that every single week Matt gets cleared, he’s gonna send him back to the hospital, and it’s not over until he sends him home for good.

Hardy says he’s back and his first order of business is taking care of Sammy Guevara.

This sends us to break.

Back from commercial, we get a drawing to determine the entrants in a four-way #1 contender’s match to the AEW World Tag Team Championship next week.

Private Party get drawn first, the Beaver Boys get second, Butcher and the Blade third, and last, the Young Bucks.

The Bucks come to the ring and tell Tony Schiavone to calm down, they’re not here to superkick him... but to superkick Private Party! All the entrants in next week’s match brawl, and we go to break.

“Big Swole” Aerial Monroe vs. Hikaru Shida (c) (AEW Women’s World Championship)

Collar and elbow, lots of struggle into a stalemate, off the ropes, jockeying for position and Shida lays her out with a shoulder block. Drop down, leapfrog, Hikaru with body blows, off the ropes but Swole catches her into a cravate! Reversals, trading pins, trading arm drags, stereo kip ups! Shoulder block from Shida, action to the floor, Knee Trembler connects!

Monroe pounces Shida and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Swole with a headbutt, she gets back body dropped to the apron. Up top, jockeying for position, no dice on the sunset flip but she’s able to shove Shida to the apron and hit a roundhouse kick! Springboard Ace Crusher on the ramp! Back inside, one inside too... SHIDA KICKS OUT! Uppercuts, headbutt, Monroe goes for Dirty Dancing but gets countered with a knee!

Another try, another counter, straitjacket German suplex from the champ... NOPE! Falcon Arrow... STILL NO! Off the ropes, Dirty Dancing connects... HIKARU GETS A HAND ON THE ROPES! Monroe draws her up, another try but Shida rolls her through, right hand, off the ropes, running knee to the back of the head, off the ropes again...

Hikaru Shida wins by pinfall with the sliding kick to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Commentary hypes up some future matches for us, including a rematch between Cody and Orange in two weeks.

Eddie Kingston and the Lucha Brothers come to the commentary desk.

We get a Shawn Spears vignette where he talks about how he’s coming for Scorpio Sky to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Lance Archer kicks some poor crew guy through the stage wall as part of his entrance.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Lance Archer (AEW World Championship No Disqualification Match)

Eddie Kingston is on commentary for this one.

Kick to the gut, Paradigm Shift... ARCHER KICKS OUT! Lance with the goozel, Moxley rams him out to the floor and the Murderhawk Monster presses the attack, taking him around the ringside area and throwing him into the barricade. Jon recovers, back in for a suicide dive, front chancery, dragging Archer over to the barricade and throwing him into it!

Lance recovers, choking him, taking the action back inside, Mox fires up for a lariat but Archer shrugs it off! Forearms, the big man smiling, criss-cross... POUNCE!

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, jockeying for position on the apron with a table set up on the floor. Moxley slugs Archer back inside and perches up top, but he dives right into the goozel! Go-behind, big back elbow breaks the waistlock, trading forearms, Lance wiping the champ out! Jon fired up, second wind, corner lariats lay the challenger out and he goes outside for plunder, throwing a bunch of chairs in the ring!

Chairshot, a little bit of hardcore Feng Shui leads to jockeying for position and Archer chokeslams him through the chairs! Moxley trips him up into a grapevined kneebar but Lance gets the ropes! Referee Bryce Remsburg reminds him it’s no DQ so Archer keeps crawling until he gets out of the ring and breaks the hold!

Lying in wait with a trash can, Mox off the ropes and Lance clobbers him with the trash can! Another can shot in the ring, rolling Jon to the apron, following out after him and drawing him up, underhooks, Mox hits a low blow to counter! PARADIGM SHIFT OFF THE APRON AND THROUGH THE TABLES AT RINGSIDE!

Back inside, kick to the gut, Paradigm Shift... ARCHER KICKS OUT! MOX SHIFTS TO THE SAKA OTOSHI! ARCHER TO HIS FEET TO BREAK IT! Moxley sidesteps, schoolboy for two, Lance fires back with a DDT! Chokeslam into the turnbuckles, putting Jon up top, crucifix lift... BLACKOUT CONNECTS BUT MOX REVERSES TO A CRUCIFIX PIN! IT’S OVER!

Jon Moxley wins by pinfall with a crucifix pin to retain the AEW World Championship.

Post-match, Archer goes to attack Mox but Eddie Kingston and the Lucha Brothers make the save and run them off!

Eddie circles the champ and says they’ve known each other for years and recounts stories of drinking together in Philadelphia. They had a great match last time he says, even though he never tapped out, and he asks Rey Fenix to bring Mox his title. Eddie says he’s proud of him and he always knew he could do it.

Nobody’s better than him, he’s so proud, and he wants to raise Mox’s hand together with his boys... AND HITS THE BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE BEFORE LOCKING A BODYSCISSORS SLEEPER ON HIM!

Kingston breaks the hold to grab the title and talk it up as everything they fight for before promising Jon that he’s gonna get him.

That’s the show, folks.
