Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Dec. 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s NWA Powerrr, AEW Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, NXT UK on Jan. 2, SmackDown on Friday, this week’s Impact, MLW Fusion & ROH TV, night one of New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom 14, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 29, 2019 - Jan. 4, 2020.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
He brought back the look. Think he could bring this back too?
- He earned a second shot at The Fiend (who only needed an appearance by his alter ego on the ‘tron to finish third) and won the week.
- The second place finisher cut her usual solid promo making her match for Royal Rumble.
- A fun win for The Limitless One made the cut from a pre-taped NXT, as did the two debuts which occurred on the episode and the North American champ who beat one of them.
- Getting his butt kicked signaled the return of a Raw announcer, and the new United States champ got his votes like he got his title - from a house show.
- Beating Dana Brooke before and during a match is how a certain someone makes bank - and your Standings.
