Congrats to the the no-longer-Best Kept Secret

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Jan. 20 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s Impact, NWA Powerrr & AEW Dark, Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, NXT UK on Jan. 23, SmackDown on Friday, this week’s, MLW Fusion & ROH TV, NWA’s Hard Times PPV, NXT & NXT UK Worlds Collide, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Jan. 19 - 25, 2020.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Friendship is magic.

  • It was for the no-longer-Best Kept Secret, who won the week by helping the Monday Night Messiah (who shared a slice of ninth place) win a fist fight.
  • NXT UK made some noise in Blackpool, as you pretty much made a b i g s t r o n g b o i and an an Irishman your match of the week.
  • A familiar Irishwoman continued to make noise, spitting hot fire in a Raw Women’s title feud.
  • Two women from the black-and-gold brand made the presence known in a battle royal, one by winning it for a shot at the champ, the other by dumping a two-time former champ.
  • AEW’s resident bad boy took another step toward a title opportunity during the week in question, while a Mongrovian karate man with ‘question’ in his name impressed from the GPB studios.
  • Back in WWE... the man who will forever be the 48/7 champ in our minds accidentally came for the Beast Incarnate, and the Fiend came for the Devil’s Favorite Demon.

Then come back in seven days, see who won, and tell us about your favorites from the week that starts with the Rumble!
