Swiss Superman, it’s not easy to be him.
Maybe this is the year Cesaro puts it all together and receives a grand singles push from WWE? Hopefully?
The past 12 months for Cesaro can be divided into two separate sections. The first half saw Cesaro team with Sheamus as The Bar. The duo began the year as SmackDown tag team champions, dropped the titles to Shane McMahon and The Miz, and never really recovered.
Sheamus suffered a concussion after WrestleMania 35, and stop us if you heard this before, WWE really didn’t know what to do with Cesaro as a singles competitor.
The second half of 2019 for Cesaro was even more nondescript than the first. Sure Cesaro had some cool matches with Ricochet, made a fun appearance NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff in August, but he also lost to Aleister Black, Mansoor, and in the opening round of the 2019 King of the Ring tournament.
Sigh.
Yesterday (Jan. 1), our Swiss Superman took to social media to tease maybe a gimmick change, a character reboot, or just a new logo.

A cool logo, but yeah, probably just a new logo.
Forecasting the next 12 months in front of us, what would Cesaro have to do in 2020 to label it a successful year?
