Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • WrestlingNews.co says they’ve heard that at least two more WWE Superstars have decided against working the next Saudi Arabia show.
  • According to Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue, Asuka and Kevin Owens have expressed an interest in returning to or working more with NXT.
  • Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson filed for trademarks on “Shatter Machine” and “#FTRKO”, which is being interpreted as a sign they’ll leave WWE when their contracts are up.
  • Twitch banned Impact Wrestling’s channel on Wednesday. Speculation is this was due to the RVD victory celebration which aired on Tuesday’s show that featured him and his girlfriend in a hotel room with another woman.
  • There’s a lot of talk Showtime is considering a deal to air MLW.
