Cody accepted MJF’s stipulations, and now we’re one step closer to a match that’s been brewing since November’s Full Gear PPV.
There are still at least three more steps to go, as Maxwell Jacob Freidman had three stipulations his former mentor had to agree to in order to get the match at Revolution on Feb. 29 in Chicago.
One, he can’t touch MJF before their match.
Two, he has to fight Freidman’s associate Wardlow in a steel cage. This will happen on Dynamite ten days before Revolution. As it now stands, this bout in Atlanta will be both the first cage match in AEW history, and Wardlow’s first official match for the company.
Three, Cody has to take ten lashes from MJF. We don’t know when this will happen, but the ‘go home’ show on Feb. 26 seems like a safe bet.
The American Nightmare is in. Are you?
