While both companies have remained publicly committed to their partnership, we hadn’t seen many signs that the Ring of Honor/New Japan alliance was alive and well lately. Some ROH talents have shown up on NJPW shows, but there’s been every little Japanese presence on Ring of Honor cards.
This was especially noticeable when ROH announced their WrestleMania 36 weekend show. New Japan doesn’t have an early April event in Florida, and even with Marty Scurll remaining in the fold, the Villain could use some help selling thousands of tickets to Supercard of Honor.
He’s getting NJPW’s top gaijin. It was announced this afternoon that a former IWGP Heavyweight champ will work the show on April 4 in Lakeland - Bullet Club’s Switchblade Jay White.

We knew the Biz Cliz would be the area, because Tama Tonga is hosting his second annual Bullet Club Beach Party earlier in the day on Sat., April 4. Will G.O.D. or KENTA breathe with The Switchblade at Supercard?
Stay tuned.
