Considering he’s one of AEW’s biggest heels, it’s no surprise Maxwell Jacob Friedman will not continue working with MLW now that he’s fulfilled his contractual obligations to the promotion.
It’s also not surprising how he announced the news, putting over his teammates in MLW’s Dynasty faction... and making excused for why Richard Holliday & Alexander Hammerstone look to have better tans than he does.
While my time with @MLW is over I can assure you the Dynasty will live on....forever.

I had the best tan btw, it’s just the camera angle. pic.twitter.com/tSHszAkd4d
MJF’s last match for MLW - against Marshall Von Erich - was taped last Saturday (Jan. 11) in North Richland Hills, Texas. It will air on a future episode of Fusion. Meanwhile, he’s getting set to team with The Butcher & The Blade against DDP, Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall on Dynamite this upcoming Wednesday as part of the build to a showdown with Cody at AEW’s Feb. 29 Revolution PPV.
