The first taping for All Elite Wrestling’s new live TNT show sold out Washington D.C.’s Capital One Arena in just a few hours. Where will Cody Rhodes & company attempt to replicate that feat?
Answers came via an “uncensored” edition of this week’s Being The Elite, and the official company announcement soon followed:

Oct. 9 in Boston’s Agganis Arena
Oct. 16 in Philadelphia’s Liacouris Center
Despite the quick sellout in the nation’s capital, AEW is following through on their plans to run smaller venues for television. Post Wrestling’s John Pollock notes that Agganis has a listed capacity of 7,200 and Liacouris 10,200. Even before seats are held back for production and staging needs, those are both significantly smaller than Capital One’s 15 - 20K.
They are sticking to big east coast cities, and while they may not sell these shows out the day tickets go on sale (although I wouldn’t be shocked if they do), they should definitely pack the houses with loud fans.
Any Bostonians or Philadelphians planning on trying to get tickets? Anyone gonna travel? Overall thoughts on the picks? Chime in below.
