WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Observer says Eric Bischoff hasn’t had much input in creative on SmackDown since coming on with WWE. They also say Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens, and Daniel Bryan pitch most of their own stuff to the writers.
  • According to PW Insider, WWE will be bringing Kurt Angle in for SummerSlam weekend.
  • Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been talk that a lot of big names will be starting with WWE in September at the Performance Center.
  • One of those names could be Lucha Underground’s King Cuerno.
  • There’s a lot of talk that Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns are the cover stars of WWE 2K20 based on a recently released trailer.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below.
