All Elite Wrestling will crown their first ever World champ in a couple weeks at All Out. And after either Chris Jericho or Adam “Hangman” Page leaves Chicagoland’s Sears Centre with the belt, they’ll be enjoy at least a six week reign.
We know this because AEW just announced the first defense of the World title will take place on the Oct. 16 episode of their TNT series, broadcasting live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelpia:
The FIRST defense of the #AEW World Championship will be made Wed, October 16th at the @LiacourasCenter when @AEWonTNT broadcasts LIVE from Philadelphia! Tix go on sale this Fri, Aug 16th at Noon ET / 9am PT - https://t.co/mxiUPGTZnl pic.twitter.com/hjRvPFGPKV

That’s the only match announced for week three of AEW TV, but we can probably assume there will be a tag match on there, seeing as the tournament to crown their first World Tag Team champions starts the week before in Boston.
Intrigued enough to head to the box office or jump on Ticketmaster this Friday (Aug. 16) when tickets for the Philly show go on sale?
