AEW announces another match for Boston TV taping

Over the weekend, we learned All Elite’s tournament to crown their first Tag Team champions would start on the second episode of their TNT television show, filming Weds., Oct. 9 in Boston. Now, with tickets going on sale for that show this Friday (Oct. 16), AEW’s announced another match for Agganis Arena:

There’s no real story here, as of yet. Both men have well built singles matches at All Out on Sat., Aug. 31 - Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega and Shawn Spears vs. Cody Rhodes - but they haven’t interacted in All Elite. Both men came from WWE, but don’t have any history from there, either.

The other match on the card for Boston, The Young Bucks vs. Private Party, doesn’t need much build, since it’s a tournament match.

We’ll see how they set-up Mox vs. The Perfect Ten, and how well tickets sell for week two of AEW TV, in the coming days and weeks.
