We haven’t seen Chris Jericho in an AEW ring since Double or Nothing, where he defeated Kenny Omega to earn the right to wrestle Hangman Page for the AEW world championship at All Out next month. He was attacked by a debuting Jon Moxley just after and wasn’t booked for the Fyter Fest show.
He’s back this weekend, though, as he revealed on Instagram:
The last we heard from him he was demanding everyone thank him for putting AEW on the map and avoiding the promotion for failing to do so. It’s safe to assume that will be the theme of his promo here.
