After the bit which helps give the episode its name - joking around about sticking with the oft-panned Librarians gimmick until it gets Baron Corbin-like “Go Away Heat”, and regular features like tales from the road and “BTE Mailbag” - the latest episode of Being The Elite announces a new match for AEW’s Fight for the Fallen show on Sat., July 13.
All Elite Wrestling launched by promising to focus on tag wrestling, and the event this weekend in Jacksonville continues to prove they’re not joking. The SCU vs. Lucha Bros bout makes it so exactly half of the announced card consists of tags:
- Cody & Dustin Rhodes vs. The Young Bucks
- Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie
- Kenny Omega vs. CIMA
- Kip Sabian vs. Adam “Hangman” Page
- Joey Janela, Jimmy Havoc & Darby Allin vs. MJF, Shawn Spears & Sammy Guevara
- Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) vs. SCU (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian, with Christopher Daniels)
- An appearance by Chris Jericho
