Rumor Roundup (July 6, 2019): Ronda Rousey return, President Trump on SmackDown, WWE moves, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Sportskeeda is claiming Ronda Rousey could be coming back to WWE sooner rather than later to work with Paul Heyman.
  • They’re also claiming FOX wants WWE to get President Donald Trump for the first episode of SmackDown Live in October.
  • The Observer notes the recent WWE moves are as much about competition from AEW as much as they are the decline in the promotions own numbers.
  • According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mike & Maria Kanellis didn’t know about her pregnancy until after they signed their new deals. They also rushed to put the angle together with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins the moment WWE became aware of it.
  • Adam Pearce is now running 205 Live, per the Observer.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
