AEW finalizes Fight for the Fallen card (again), ups the hype with cold open video

Well, we knew half of this women’s tag match was on the card. And that Tokyo Joshi Pro’s Princess of Princess champ Shoko Nakajima would likely debut for AEW at Sat., July 13’s Fight for the Fallen was pretty much an open secret, especially after she was pulled from her home promotion’s show this weekend. But now it’s official, and so (we think) is the line-up for Dailey’s Place in Jacksonville tomorrow night:

  • Cody & Dustin Rhodes vs. The Young Bucks
  • Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie
  • Kenny Omega vs. CIMA
  • Kip Sabian vs. Adam “Hangman” Page
  • Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) vs. SCU (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian, w/ Christopher Daniels)
  • The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) against Angelico & Jack Evans and Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy to advance to All Out for a chance at a first round bye in the Tag Title tournament
  • A pissed off Chris Jericho with a live mic
  • Britt Baker & Riho vs. Bea Priestley & Shoko Nakajima
  • Joey Janela, Jimmy Havoc & Darby Allin vs. MJF, Shawn Spears & Sammy Guevara (The Buy In)
  • Sonny Kiss vs. Peter Avalon w/Leva Bates (The Buy In)

There likewise isn’t much new to the opening video for the show, which AEW has again released ahead of time and is embedded in the header above. But it’s a great piece of business, and definitely does its job upping the excitement level for Fight for the Fallen.
