Well that was an extreme way to open Monday Night Raw.
On the first episode of Raw since Paul Heyman was named executive director on Monday nights, the former ECW’s frontman’s fingerprints felt all over the opening match between Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley.
Booked in a Falls Count Anywhere match, the contest looked very much like a normal anything goes match until the dramatic ending.

You almost knew if anything wild or crazy happened this week on Raw, Heyman would get all the credit. This entire moment between Strowman and Lashley just felt different.
From Corey Graves letting a “holy shit” leak out on air, to the liberal use of explosives, to Raw fading to commercial without the announcers saying a word, it made for a very good start to Monday night.
Thoughts on the end of Strowman vs. Lashley?
