Lucha Bros mystery Fyter Fest partner revealed on latest Being The Elite

Plus, another match is booked for June 29’s FREE show,

I’ll confess to not being super-familiar, and therefore a little disappointed, with the reveal of Fenix & Pentagon Jr’s partner for their trios match against Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks at June 29’s Fyter Fest on the latest episode of Being The Elite.

He’s a former AAA Cruiserweight champ, has done some work with Impact on and off, and just teamed with Taya Valkyrie last night at the same Verano de Escándalo show where the Lucha Bros took the tag belts back from the Bucks. But Laredo Kid still isn’t a name which makes me say “Holy $#!+” or anything. And since he’s replacing PAC, I was hoping the reveal would make me say “Holy $#!+”.

But I know enough about him to be intrigued, and I’m excited to see what he can do in a ring with five other very talented wrestlers in Daytona Beach at the end of the month. Plus, you can’t argue with the price AEW and B/R Live are charging to watch the stream of Fyter Fest!

Laredo Kid is revealed at the end of the above BTE video, episode 157’s “Viva Lost Tag Belts”, which otherwise mostly focuses on Matt & Nick Jackson’s trip to Merida for their latest match with Lucha Bros. We also get confirmation of Christopher Daniels Fyter Fest match, and build toward a Brandon Cutler vs. Sammy Guevera bout somewhere down the line.

Check it out, and check out this updated line-up for June 29’s free streaming show:

  • Cody vs. Darby Allin
  • The Elite (The Young Buck & Kenny Omega) vs. Lucha Bros (Fenix & Pentagon Jr) & Laredo Kid
  • Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela
  • Hangman Page vs. Jungle Boy vs. MJF vs. Jimmy Havoc
  • Nyla Rose vs. Riho vs. Yuka Sakazaki
  • Christopher Daniels vs. CIMA
  • Alex Jebailey vs. Michael Nakazawa
