Jon Moxley feels like a kid again

James Musselwhite for All Elite Wrestling

Not long ago, Jon Moxley was announced for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G-1 Climax 29. Just days ago, it was announced Moxley would wrestle Kenny Omega at AEW All Out. Just weeks ago, it was announced that Moxley would wrestle Joey Janela at Fyter Fest.

He’s like a kid in a candy store.

As he told TMZ, he feels like a kid again too:

”I feel like I’m 18 again right now. Like, just so excited. I’m just chomping at the bit to get in the ring. ... I’m like a little kid again. It could just be all downhill starting this Friday. We could go on a sharp decline but hopefully... I’m just so excited about the future, man. So I could wrestle until I’m 100, you know? Stem cell research, you never know.”

He’s got every reason to feel great about his future prospects. He’s already a champion in New Japan, he’s the talk of the town in AEW, and he’s arguably a bigger star now than he was with WWE. That’s without mentioning all the creative freedom he has now that he’s no longer in WWE.

The future looks bright indeed.
