Moxley takes Japan, and our Standings

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - New Japan’s Dominion 6.9, the June 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, June 11, NXT UK & NXT and Beyond’s Uncharted Territory from Wednesday, this week’s Impact, ROH TV & MLW Fusion, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from June 9 - 15, 2019.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

And he got your attention by actually wrestling this time!

  • The new IWGP United States champ was joined by BOSJ 26 winner in representing New Japan.
  • Several of the WWE contractors in the top ten earned your support from outside the continental U.S., including Super ShowDown’s battle royal winner and the new #1 contender for the United Kingdom title.
  • Heck, even Truth was losing and re-winning his European Television championship while en route to Saudi Arabia.
  • And who knows where the Firefly FunHouse is (even if it’s Bray’s mind, that’s scary than Parts Unknown and Death Valley combined).
  • The Demon and The Beastslayer both had successful trips to Jeddah, too.
  • In fact, the only people in our top ten weren’t allowed to perform with WWE on Fri., June 7 (and NJPW doesn’t have a division for them), so The Man had to settle for a post-match attack on some blonde ladies, and The Goddess for becoming #1 contender to the SmackDown Women’s title.

The wrestling world moves fast... keep up as best you can! We try to help with our coverage of All Elite, Raw, NXT, SmackDown, New Japan, MLW, and the independent scene (where we lean heavily on Rev. Claire’s Sermon on the Mat, and recommend you do the same).

However you do it, though, do it. Then vote. That’s how this whole thing works.
