Rumor Roundup (June 15, 2019): Bray Wyatt plans, Aleister Black push, Fandango, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • PW Insider says Bray Wyatt is scheduled to be at Monday Night Raw next week, though it’s unclear if that means he’ll actually appear on TV.
  • On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted there are people in WWE who are behind Aleister Black, so he could be in for a push.
  • Fandango returned to NXT recently but Insider is saying he is not currently scheduled for any NXT shows this weekend. The obvious speculation is that he’s back for a run alongside Tyler Breeze.
  • The story going around that Gedo is no longer booking New Japan Pro Wrestling is false, says the Observer.
  • Daga was in line for a push in MLW later this year, per PW Insider, but he’s now gone from the promotion after he told the company he was taking a vacation but actually worked dates in Mexico.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it. And check our weekly Rumor Look Back here to keep track of how often rumors turn out to be correct.
