It’s Monday, and that means a new episode of Being The Elite.
After a few fun but not super eventful episodes coming out of All Elite Wrestling’s debut pay-per-view (PPV) Double or Nothing, a bunch of interesting stuff happens in the June 10 edition, “Dark Order”:
- Trying to get a Fyter Fest match against MJF booked while prepping for his AEW World title match by watching old Chris Jericho matches, a bad phone connection ends up resulting in Hangman Page getting a 4Way on June 29 that also has Jungle Boy & Jimmy Havoc.
- The team who crashed the end of Best Friends vs. Angelico & Jack Evans in Las Vegas introduces themselves under their new name, The Dark Order (their old name, Super Smash Bros, having obvious copyright issues for a company with a major TV deal). We also learn Evil Uno & Stupified’s minions are called “Creepers”, and get this logo and a possible theme song for the team/group:

- The Young Bucks are booked for House of Glory’s Aug. 9 show in what Matt Jackson says “quite possibly will be our final professional wrestling appearance at an independent wrestling show, maybe ever”.
- Cody Rhodes hypes All Out’s tickets going on sale this Friday, June 14, but Brandi won’t let him guarantee - almost or otherwise - that you’ll get a seat at Sears Centre on Aug. 31.
- Lucha Bros send Nick Jackson a DVD teasing a very important person as the mystery partner (and Pac replacement) for their Fyter Fest trios match against Kenny Omega and the Bucks.
