Rumor Roundup (May 9, 2019): Lars Sullivan, Sasha Banks, Lio Rush, WWE social media policy, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • WWE was aware of Lars Sullivan’s online history before hiring him, per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live. There’s no issue for the company because Sullivan apologized.
  • Sasha Banks was “listed internally” for the European tour, according to PW Insider, but she didn’t travel with the Raw roster when they left for Ireland on Tuesday. She also wasn’t on Wednesday’s show in Belfast.
  • Insider also reported that Lio Rush was not backstage at Raw this week and is not listed for the European tour.
  • According to WWE officials and talents who spoke to Fightful, the company does not require wrestlers to turn over their social media login information. A PW Insider report from last week, backed up by Ryback, indicated they did.
  • Vince McMahon is still high on Andrade, says Fightful, especially since his English is improving.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
