Rumors for the Day:

• For what it’s worth, Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that some folks told him Vince McMahon was furious over Sami Zayn mentioning AEW on Raw. So add that to the ongoing debate about it being scripted or not.
• Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the injury AJ Styles is battling is indeed his back.
• He also said WWE has banned saying “Saudi Arabia” on all broadcasts and they’re only allowed to use “Jeddah” or “Super ShowDown” to describe the show there.
• PW Insider notes that WWE changed the Fatal 4-Way match on Raw this week from an elimination match to a one-fall bout to protect wrestlers from having to take falls.
• That site also says Flamita has signed with MLW.
