Rumors for the Day:
- AJ Styles is “banged up”, according to PW Insider’s sources, but beyond that and word he wasn’t at Raw, not much is known about his injury status.
- Insider also reported that Tony Khan impressed his employees at Double or Nothing, both with how he handled production responsibilities like keeping the show running on time, and how enthusiastic he was about the in-ring performances.
- Super Smash Bros, the team who attacked after Best Friends beat Angelico & Jack Evans at Double or Nothing, are expected to undergo a name change in AEW to avoid copyright issues with Nintendo.
- Joey Ryan turned down AEW’s contract offer, per SoCalUncensored.com. He’s promoting an announcement about his future at the Bar Wrestling show on Thursday.
- Maria Kanellis revealed on Twitter that she and husband Mike’s contracts are up in three weeks. She later played it off as a joke, but multiple outlets confirmed that is when their WWE deals expire.
