Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV), the May 20 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, May 21, NXT UK & NXT and Beyond’s Uncharted Territory from Wednesday, this week’s Impact, ROH TV & MLW Fusion, New Japan’s Best of the Super-Juniors shows, AEW’s Double Or Nothing PPV, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from May 19 - 25, 2019.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Are these results right? Let’s just see...
- Even though he doesn’t think much of us, we found the Likeable One likeable when he took a Money in the Bank spot from Braun Strowman, and got the YEP Movement back together to help his friend’s chase the always-placing WWE champ.
- Yowie Wowie! That mask is scary.
- An Irishwoman paid for signing two contracts, and a Scotswoman got a storyline & took a Goddess place in a couple of matches.
- The Swiss Superman & the Master of the 6-1-9 reminded us that they are really, really good pro wrestlers.
- Speaking of wrestling clinics, the Intercontinental champ and El Ídolo provided the finish of a fourway banger with Ali and the Viper.
- AHHHHHHH! Street Profits high flier stood out in a tag team heavy episode of NXT.

The week wrapped up with AEW’s big gamble paying off. Definitely check our coverage of All Elite, but don’t forget about Raw, NXT, SmackDown, New Japan, MLW, and whatever other independents Rev. Claire’s Sermon on the Mat has you checking out.
It’s a lot to consider, and I think the S3’s about to get interesting - just like the overall wrestling game.
