Rumor Roundup (May 25, 2019): Sasha Banks update, Johnny Gargano injury, Double or Nothing, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • PW Insider notes that Sasha Banks was in New York for WWE on Wednesday and the belief is she was there to work on material for the next video game.
  • Johnny Gargano is currently dealing with a knee injury, per the Observer.
  • With regards to the Hangman Page vs. PAC match cancellation, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is saying “with surprises and changes made, the new scenario is better.”
  • They also note that New Japan is still hoping to work with Kenny Omega in the future and that he’ll return at some point.
  • The Observer says AEW will be implementing a drug testing program.
