Chris Jericho unveils new finishing move

Chris Jericho is unveiling a new move for a new wrestling promotion.

Y2J released a video on his Instagram of him training at Dave Batista’s MMA gym. It’s there that he and his trainer talk about how he’s working on a spinning elbow that he plans to use as “the new finish.”

Named after his band Fozzy’s hit single “Judas,” the move is called The Judas Effect.

If Jericho has his way, the Judas Effect, which he plans to unveil at AEW’s Double or Nothing on May 25, will join the Code Breaker and Walls of Jericho/Lion Tamer as his big signature moves. A spinning elbow certainly isn’t as flashy as most finishers so we’ll have to wait and see how it plays in a pro wrestling match.

Jericho claimed this move is “exclusive to AEW” so Kazuchika Okada shouldn’t have to worry about it when he defends the IWGP heavyweight title against Jericho at Dominion.

Let us know below if you think Jericho is going to make a spinning elbow work as a finishing maneuver.
