Jack Swagger is ready for his second MMA fight tonight

Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) is returning to MMA for his second professional fight at Bellator 221 on Saturday, May 11. Hager will be battling T.J. Jones, who has a record of 1-1. Hager tipped the scales at 239.1 pounds, while Jones weighed in at 263.7 pounds.

As for Hager’s opponent, T.J. “Tombstone” Jones trained while working at a beef plant. It sounds like his strategy will be to use his feet and avoid the cage fence. Jones plans to use his purse money to have a fun summer for his six kids. And perhaps he can get a Tombstone pizza sponsorship out of it.

The televised main card for Bellator 221 is scheduled as follows:

  • Michael Chandler vs. Patricio Freire
  • Douglas Lima vs. Michael Page
  • A.J. McKee vs. Pat Curran
  • Jake Hager vs. T.J. Jones
  • Tywan Claxton vs. James Bennett

The show begins at 9 pm ET on DAZN. With Hager on second, his fight will probably go on around 9:30pm ET. You may want to tune in earlier in case the first bout is a quick one.

Since Hager’s last fight, he has been busy with a biographic comic book, cryotherapy, and squirrel training.

He is also taking phone calls from President Donald Trump.

If you are looking for some Swaggie swag, Hager has t-shirts for sale at Pro Wrestling Tees.
