Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • WWE apparently has at least one big surprise planned for WrestleMania 35, and maybe more than that.
  • There’s word going around, apparently originating from BeltFanDan, that WWE had new tag team title designs made and the new belts are in New Jersey for WrestleMania 35.
  • For whatever it’s worth, Kurt Angle told Gorilla Position that John Cena, despite saying he’s not booked, will have a match at WrestleMania 35.
  • Jim Ross said during an interview with WFAN in New York that AEW has a TV deal already and will have a weekly two hour show that will debut in October.
  • Darby Allin is done with Evolve and will be a free agent next week, says PW Insider.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below.
