Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the April 22 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, April 23, NXT UK & NXT from Wednesday, this week’s Impact, ROH TV & MLW Fusion, New Japan’s Road to Wrestling Dontaku show from Hiroshima, NWA’s Crocket Cup pay-per-view (PPV), and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from April 21 - 27, 2019.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Hips don’t lie...
- Big O, we hardly knew ye. Or, I guess Kevin Owens is who we thought he was. Before he reminded us, he picked up a win with the WWE champ, who also placed.
- The new Intercontinental champ lost on Raw, won on SmackDown, and looked good on both shows. The equally handsome man who beat him in non-title action on Monday also got your support.
- If you can get your hometown to boo you, you get our votes.
- Back to folks who pulled double-duty, the Pirate Princess’ Tuesday was much better than her Wednesday. The North American champ only appeared in a successful defense on NXT, which is probably why he finished in front of her.
- Shake-up week was all about working twice. Romey did it, but I imagine the bulk of his points came from punching a McMahon. Miz only worked once, but punching McMahons = votes.
- And then there’s The Man, who will get to work twice as long as her last name’s 2 Belts.

Another week, another vote. Refresh your memory of what happened on Raw, NXT, SmackDown, New Japan, MLW, and/or the various & sundry independents (where Rev. Claire’s Sermon on the Mat is an excellent guide). Then click and type to tell us who you was at the top of your lists.
We’ll compile those and be back here next Sunday with our Standings!
