Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the April 15 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, April 16, NXT UK & NXT from Wednesday, this week’s Impact, ROH TV & MLW Fusion, New Japan’s Sengoku Lord in Nagoya, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from April 14 - 20, 2019.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Does your WWE champ take fun pics with black queer furry gamers?
So not only did I get the WWE champion @TrueKofi to wear my fursuit but HE LET ME HOLD THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT TOO AND IM BEAMING pic.twitter.com/Z7qK4mqQgx

- It was a holding pattern of a week for WWE, so it’s not surprising the three stars of WrestleMania 35 still placed.
- A returning star who wasn’t at ‘Mania had some harsh truths to spit about smarks, and separated the wrestlers holding SmackDown’s top belts at the top of our Standings.
- The Man’s new challenger for the Raw strap, and another NXT call-up finally getting something to do, stood out during the weird week.
- With the new blue brand tag champs and the IIconic Women’s tag champs rounding out the top ten.
The S3: 2019 - 20, Week 1
1. Kofi Kingston
2. Sami Zayn
3. Becky Lynch
4. Lacey Evans
5. Matt Hardy
6. Lars Sullivan
7. Jeff Hardy
8. Peyton Royce
9. Billie Kay
10. Seth Rollins
Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.
Being week one, the year-to-date S3 is identical to what you see above. But as we get farther away from WrestleMania 35, and closer to 36, the Year Eight Top Ten will be posted in this space every Sunday (and, roughly quarterly, a complete Standings featuring everyone who’s earned annual points).
A more eventful week, if not in terms of storyline advancement, then definitely in terms of roster movement. And, hey, WWE’s the biggest but not the only game in town. Check our sections on some of your other options before you make your picks Raw, NXT, SmackDown, New Japan, MLW, and the indies (where you’ll be hard pressed to find a better weekly guide than Rev. Claire’s Sermon on the Mat!). Then click and type away below.
And come back next week to see how it all shook out!
