It was roughly one month ago that reports made the rounds Goldust’s WWE contract expired and he would be leaving the promotion. Rumors, naturally, started up that he could head to AEW to work with his brother, Cody. He quickly denied being done with WWE, and was mad online about it.
Turns out, the rumors were correct.
Indeed, the latest episode of “The Road to Double or Nothing” announces Cody vs. Dustin Rhodes at Double or Nothing on Sat., May 25, 2019, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
The tease there is that while he knows he’s near the end, it’s also at least possible he’ll have another run. What better place to do that than AEW with his brother?
