His in-ring career with WWE wraps up on Sunday at WrestleMania 35. What’s next for Olympic gold medalist and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle? Lots of stuff, certainly. But one of those things will be an appearance at Starrcast II, Conrad Thompson’s podcast convention which is happening around All Elite Wrestling’s first event, May 25’s Double Or Nothing.
Angle joining the Starrcast line-up was announced by none other than AEW executive vice-president Cody Rhodes. That’s at least somewhat interesting, since Cody & Conrad are usually quick to point out their two companies are completely separate (while acknowledging the obvious benefits they get from working together).
It’s true

Depending on how much stock you put into rumors, this is also interesting because Undertaker appearing at Starrcade II has been floated as a source of tension between the Dead Man and Vince McMahon.
Will Angle be the subject of similar rumors? And if you really want to let your baseless speculation flag fly, does his working the AEW-adjacent event have anything to do with the booking of his WWE farewell tour?
Either way, you’ll be able to see and hear from Kurt during a session that’ll take place sometime from May 23 - 26 at Caesars Palace in Vegas, or on the Fite.TV PPV stream.
It’s true. It’s damn true.
