Finally, a Roman comeback smarks would pop for

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Mar. 4 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, Mar. 5, NXT UK, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, the Mar. 8 Impact & WOW, MLW Fusion from Mar. 9, NJPW’s 47th Anniversary & New Japan Cup shows, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Mar. 3 - 9, 2019.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!
  • Never doubted you, Big Uce.
  • In any other week, surprise returns by the Animal or the Prizefighter would win.
  • After a couple weeks worth of great performances, The New Day’s old head may have saved his best one for when Vince McMahon screwed him out of a WWE title shot.
  • The new Women’s tag champs received a heroes welcome back in their old stomping grounds (where the Blasian Baddie delivered one of her best performances in WWE to finish in a ninth place logjam, alongside her Limitless boyfriend).
  • In other news, The Man went to jail. A fake one, but still.
  • Since he and his tag partner seem to rotate in the top ten, it was the Dutch Destroyer’s turn to impress.
  • Also in that ninth place pile-up were the Intercontinental and U.S. champs, who successfully defended their belts in fun match-ups during the week under consideration.

The S3: 2018 - 19, Week 47

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Where The Boss pushes the (for now) NXT champ out the way and takes fifth:

The last seven days may not have been quite as eventful as seven before them, but who knows? There are no off weeks on the Road to WrestleMania, and the end of our season.

Keep up however you keep up - we use our sections for things like eventful Raw, Smackdown, NXT, New Japan, and the indies - where we let Sermon on the Mat be our guide.

But the how doesn’t matter, as long as you click or type your picks below.
