Cody Rhodes teased he’d be making a career-changing decision this week. It looks like the official announcement will come on the New Year’s Day edition of Dynamite. But as is becoming the norm, All Elite gave the exclusive story to a major media outlet.

With Tully Blanchard managing advising Shawn Spears, MJF running around with Wardlow as an enforcer, and the entire Inner Circle watching Chris Jericho’s back, Cody decided he needed someone he could trust. He’s turned again to one of his father’s arch-nemeses from the old JCP/WCW days - Arn Anderson.
The youngest Rhodes and Double-A first worked together when Anderson came to Cody’s aid at All Out when he was facing Spears and Arn’s old Horseman/Brain Busters partner Blanchard. Now, they’ll be working together on a regular basis.
Rhodes is apparently sticking to his vow to never challenge for the AEW World title, so it’ll be interesting to see what goals he and Anderson have in mind for the EVP’s future.
Revenge against MJF is probably first and foremost.
