Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Dec. 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s Impact, AEW DARK & NWA Powerrr, Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, Thursday’s NXT UK & Beyond’s Uncharted Territory, SmackDown & 205 Live on Friday, EVOLVE 143, this week’s ROH TV & MLW Fusion, Ring of Honor’s Final Battle PPV, NWA’s Into The Fire PPV, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 8 - 14, 2019.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!

- The Moment Maker was the only representative from the main black-and-gold brand, although a Finn Bálor protege got some love for the build to a match with Tyler Bate across the pond.
- Another Finn trainee rejoined the top ten for her build to a match with Asuka, and was joined in the top ten from Raw by a guy doing a bit of a Stone Cold homage in his feud with Seth Rollins.
- From Team Blue, it was the Universal champ and his new newest friend/target.
- The other four spots were all A-E-Dub: Le Champion, the dangerous man chasing him, the prehistoric kid who thinks he can hang with him, and... the Galaxy’s Favorite Alien.

Where things at the top are as close as they’ve been in at least a year.
Is it more front-runner backlash/WWE cooling off The Man to counter-act front-runner backlash? Or is it just The Year of The Fiend?
Fitting it should come down to the person who’s held a belt since WrestleMania 35 and the hottest act in the business. Unless Mox goes on a hell of a run, that is...

Another jam-packed week of the wrestles. Sift through the offerings of AEW, WWE’s Raw, SmackDown & NXT, New Japan, Impact, ROH, the world of lucha libre, MLW, the NWA, and/or the greater the indies (where Sermon on the Mat makes a very useful sifter).
Then vote! We’ll take it from there.
