Beyond are back with your weekly Thursday night proof that the indies are alive and well from Worcester, Massachusetts, and I gotta admit, folks-- nothing on this week’s card jumps out at me as an immediate “holy hell you gotta see this”, but I have faith in Beyond to deliver a damn good show week in, week out, and I suspect tonight will be no different.

Well, it’s a little early, folks, but all good things must come to an end and so too with Chikara’s twentieth season as it comes to a close in their home base of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this weekend. Quack’s 25th anniversary tour rolls on against the Ovaltine Dream, an Oceanea-less Creatures look to overcome the Crucible, Solo Darling gets a chance at a measure of revenge on Travis Huckabee in tag title action, and Dasher Hatfield defends against the Whisper knowing that Ophidian is breathing right down his neck with three points of his own!

RevPro are back in Sheffield, England this weekend for a big-time double header. We’re focusing on New Beginnings because it’s the one that’s got a complete card, and right leaping out at my face in huge block letters here is Fletcher vs. Umino, a cracking stop on the ol’ excursion tour if there ever was one, eh?!
Plus there’s an afternoon show as Chantal Jordan, Debbie Keitel, Jayde, Lana Austin, Lizzy Evo, Maddison Miles, Saraya Knight, and Shax compete in a single-elimination tournament to crown a 2019 Queen of the Ring!
Get your tickets here or check ‘em out when they hit RPW On Demand, folks.

Shine are back for another double header with Evolve in New York City this weekend (for more on Evolve, you can read my preview when it drops, of course), and a rather atypical main event looms large over this one folks. All Shine champs will be defending in one trios match, with the winning team taking all! It’s a smidge predictable, what with Shotzi on her way to NXT and all, but hell, it should be good friendly violent fun all the same!
Get your tickets here or check it out live on Club WWN, folks.

As always...
Remember folks, no matter what type of wrestling you like, no matter how down you feel about the state of WWE, Impact, ROH, or any other “big-time” pro wrestling, there’s something out there for you. There’s a pro wrestling product that can hit you in the right spot and make you love wrestling like you thought you’d never be able to love it again. It’s there, I promise. You just gotta reach out and find it, and that, my friends, is what the Sermon on the Mat is all about.
