WWE’s announced a two-on-one handicap match pitting Charlotte Flair against Women’s Tag Team champions Kabuki Warriors for the Dec. 2 episode of Raw.
It makes sense, considering that at Survivor Series and on last Monday’s fallout show, The Queen’s rekindled her rivalry with Asuka in a big way, and The Empress’ tag partner Kairi Sane got involved to set-up the finish on the Nov. 25 Raw.
It doesn’t make a ton of sense that they’re playing it as if Flair is truly alone, since we know she’ll be teaming with Becky Lynch against Kabuki Warriors, Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss, and Bayley & Sasha tomorrow night at Starrcade.
What happens at house shows stays at house shows, I guess... even when they’re streamed on the award-winning WWE Network for $9.99 (and free to new subscribers).
Word is we’re building to Lynch & Flair vs. Asuka & Kairi at TLC on Dec. 15, so The Man saving her frenemy from a two-on-one beatdown should set that up nicely.
We might need to disregard what we get on Sunday to make the moment work, but we’ll see.
