New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) are back again and do you hear that whistle in this distance? It’s Power Struggle, the last major stop on the road to Wrestle Kingdom 13! After this, it’s just World Tag League and we’re home free, folks. Like all of New Japan’s other major events, this show will be broadcast worldwide on New Japan's streaming service, NJPW World.

We'll have the standard match recommendation post later for those of us who can’t be up in the wee hours watching wrestling, but if you can, why not watch along with the best pro wrestling community on the internet?

Today’s action takes place in Osaka’s Edion Arena Osaka, kicking off at a ripe 1AM Eastern / 11PM Pacific, and features “Switchblade” Jay White defending his IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Hirooki Goto.

Plus KENTA defends the NEVER against Ishii, BUSHI gets a shot at Will Ospreay’s IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, the finals to Super Jr. Tag League, and more!

Clark Connors, Titan, TJ Perkins, & Volador, Jr. over Jushin Liger, Ryusuke Taguchi, Tiger Mask IV, & Yuya Uemura by pinfall with the Detonation Kick from Perkins on Uemura.

Bullet Club (El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori) over Chaos (Robbie Eagles & Rocky Romero) by pinfall with CRII from Phantasmo on Romero.

Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL, SANADA, & Shingo Takagi) over Suzuki-gun (Lance Archer, Minoru Suzuki, & Zack Sabre, Jr.) by pinfall with an inside cradle from SANADA on Sabre.

Post-match, Archer challenged David Finlay to a match for his IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship at the California show next weekend.

Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kota Ibushi over Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI) by pinfall with High Fly Flow from Tanahashi on Tacos.

Post-match, a video played from Chris Jericho challenging Tanahashi to a match at Wrestle Kingdom. Tanahashi accepts!

Tetsuya Naito over Taichi by pinfall with Destino.

Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) over Suzuki-gun (El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) by pinfall with 3K on Despy to win Super Jr. Tag League. (Tournament Finals)

Post-match, junior tag champs ELP and Ishimori came down, beat RPG3K up, and stole their trophy.

KENTA (c) over Tomohiro Ishii by pinfall with the Go 2 Sleep to retain the NEVER Openweight Championship.

Will Ospreay (c) over BUSHI by pinfall with Storm Breaker to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

Post-match, the lights go out and we get a Time Bomb video... HIROMU TAKAHASHI IS BACK! He runs down to the ring, throws his neck brace off, and starts taking bumps all over the place like a madman! Hiromu gets on the mic and says he’s the only guy that can beat Ospreay and he’s not changing his style

“Switchblade” Jay White (c) over Hirooki Goto by pinfall with Blade Runner to retain the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

Post-match, White cuts a promo. He wants Okada and Ibushi, but he gets Naito, who comes out to challenge him. Ibushi and Okada both come down, Okada suggests a fan vote, and Switchblade says he’s not fighting Naito.

Enjoy the show!
