AEW & NXT booked big matches for next Wednesday

Dustin Rhodes’ Twitter

The Wednesday Night War never stops, and we already know some of what we’ll be getting in the first battle of December.

AEW announced two matches for the Dec. 4 Dynamite:

  • Fenix vs. Trent

Best Friends scored an upset victory over Lucha Bros last week, so Pentagon’s hermano will take on Chuck & Orange’s amigo in singles action.

  • Dustin Rhodes & The Young Bucks vs. Sammy Guevara & Proud -N- Powerful

The Inner Circle jumped Dustin as he was being interviewed two nights ago, and of course, Big Hurt Jake Hager broke the elder Rhodes brother’s arm in the Full Gear build. The Jacksons - especially Matt - are still banged up from their dealings with Santana & Ortiz over the past month, but they’re looking for payback regardless of whether they’re 100%

AEW hasn’t booked this match yet, but word is Janela’s social media work of late is just that, so...

Meanwhile, over in Florida, NXT wasn’t quite as busy, but they did book on slobberknocker:

  • Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain

These two just beat the crap out of each other in the #1 contender Triple Threat won by Pete Dunne at TakeOver: WarGames, and for several weeks before that in extra-match violence. This will be their first one-on-one encounter.

More fuel for the fire of the best wrestling night of the week. Is it Dec. 4 yet?
