Rumor Roundup (Nov. 27, 2019): Vince McMahon upset at Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Naomi, more!

WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said Vince McMahon was furious at Seth Rollins responding to the CM Punk chants the way he did on Raw this week, apparently because Vince doesn’t want to be building to a match that isn’t in the plans.
  • Speaking of Punk, for whatever it’s worth he told a fan he simply wasn’t booked to appear on WWE Backstage this week. It isn’t believed to have anything to do with Triple H appearing on the show.
  • Meltzer said Naomi has been kept off television because The Usos are still being kept off television.
  • PW Insider says NXT is locked into a contract with Full Sail on Wednesday nights until at least the end of March 2020.
  • WWE recently filed trademarks for old ECW event names, leading to speculation we could see those return in some capacity.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. And check our weekly Rumor Look Back here to keep track of how often rumors turn out to be correct.
