All Elite had already announced Cody would return to television next week for the first time since Nov. 13 when he tried to get some payback on Maxwell Jacob Friedman for his actions at Full Gear only to meet MJF’s new associate Wardlow. Yesterday they revealed The American Nightmare will wrestle on the Weds., Nov. 27 edition of Dynamite. It’ll be his first singles match on TNT since the premiere episode back in October.
This Wednesday, November 27th for the first time since the first #AEWDynamite episode in Washington, DC #theAmericanNightmare @CodyRhodes will be in singles action!

No word on his opponent just yet, but Cody’s match joins an already stacked line-up for AEW’s first Thanksgiving Eve episode:
- Scorpio Sky vs. Chris Jericho (c) for the AEW World championship
- MJF vs. Hangman Page for the Dynamite Diamond Ring
- Kenny Omega vs. PAC
A women’s match would be nice, but that’s a pretty amazing card for TV. Guess they don’t want to lose any more viewership battles.
Good thing is, whatever the reason, we win! And we haven’t even seen what NXT is gonna run out their next Wednesday yet!
Heck of a way to start the holiday...
