Congratulations are in order as 2019 brings another wrestling couple closer to matrimony. Daga and Tessa Blanchard are engaged.
Daga popped the big question last night in Rosarito, Mexico.

Here’s a closer shot of the ring.

Daga commented in Spanish, “My whole life forever.” Tessa commented, “My whole heart for my whole life.”
I get the feeling that Daga’s proposal caught Tessa by surprise. Two days ago, she publicly commented about his bad habit with coins.

I can’t blame Daga. He has no extra room in the pockets of the super tight pants that he frequently wears.
In hindsight, the wrestling world should have seen this coming. Two weeks ago, they visited the Happiest Place on Earth. I haven’t figured out where that is, but it appears to have worked its magic.
You know that old saying; a couple that works out in a Stone Age gym together on vacation stays together.

2019 ended with a bang for Tessa as she is engaged to Daga and also became the number one contender for the Impact World Championship. She’ll get the title opportunity against Sami Callihan in an intergender match on January 12, 2020 at Hard to Kill.
Congratulations to the dagger and diamond couple. I’ll be counting the days until the real life story crosses over into a TV wedding on a future episode of Impact Wrestling.
